The STFK Science Café is a local chapter of the NOVA Science Cafés community and has been meeting monthly since April, 2011 to promote science interest and education. We begin each meeting by watching a 10-minute NOVA video about a science topic. This is followed by a Q&A discussion in which attendees have their questions answered by a guest scientist. This is a casual, fun, engaging dialog for adults and mature teenagers. Beginning February, 2019, the STFK Science Café is co-sponsored by Spirit and Truth Fellowship of Knoxville (David Spakes, Pastor) and Associated Professionals Think Tank (David Fox, 865-803-2887).
Children age 5-12 are welcome at attend with their parents, and we will keep them busy at Kid's Café with a science lesson and activities that help make learning science fun!
Please RSVP by sending an e-mail message to rsvp@knoxsciencecafe.org. Let us know how many adults and children are in your group.

Halfway down the block, look to your left. This is Market Square. The 4 Market Square building the last building on the left (before the next cross-street) in the picture shown here.
As you approach the end of Wall Street, the Market Square Garage is on your left. There are several parking options, but this one is the easiest to access.
There are two entrances to the Market Square Garage. One is on Wall Street before the end of the block. If you turn left at the intersection, another entrace is on the side of the building.
After you park your vehicle, walk through the opening onto Wall Street. Walk to the right as the people in this picture are doing.
Follow the sidewalk along Wall Street until you reach Market Square.
Walk past the Blue Coast Grill and Bar and follow the pedestrian walkway into Market Square. The 4 Market Square building is located on the opposite corner of the square in a three-story building.
The conference room located on the third floor. Here is the view from the sidewalk looking up to the conference room window on the third floor.
Enter the building at the front door of the Cafe 4 restaurant. The entry door is located beside the archway that leads to the Miller Building on Gay Street.
There is no need to speak to the restaurant's dining room attendant. Proceed straight ahead into a hallway directly in front of you. The elevator door will be on your left.
Beside the elevator, there is a sign labeled "DIRECTORY" that indicates that 4 Market Square is located on floor 3. Take the elevator to the third floor.
When the elevator door opens on the third floor, there will be a sign directly in front of you labeled "DIRECTORY" with the words "Conference Room" underneath and an arrow pointing left. Exit the elevator and turn left.
Very soon, there will be a door to your right. Open it and you will see this hallway. Proceed to the end of the hallway. There will be a door to the left.
The door is locked at all times. When you arrive for the Science Café, someone should be there holding the door open for you. If no one is there and you cannot enter, try knocking. If you have a cell phone, call (865)680-1451 and ask for someone to open the door. Please do not disturb anyone who may be in the chapel behind you.
Follow this corridor around to your right. The conference room is located at the end of the corridor on your right.
You have arrived in the conference room.
Please make plans to attend! If you have any questions, we have a
