About Our ChurchSpirit and Truth Fellowship of Knoxville (STFK) is a small-community, independent Evangelical Christian Church. We are not related to Scientology, Christian Science, or the organization called Spirit and Truth Fellowship International. We are worshippers of God, followers of Jesus Christ, and supporters of science and science education. We see no conflict between believing in the Creator and understanding the creation. As a church, we take no official position on Genesis chapters 1-11 in the Bible, so controversial matters such as the age of the Earth are avoided. Newcomers can basically believe what they want about Genesis 1-11 without being judged for it. You might find it helpful to watch our video describing the church vision. Until the start of our transition to Florida, STFK has always offered an in‑person meeting place for church services. We were a portable church until 2020, and then we began renting a facility where we had 24x7 occupancy and uninterrupted use of the building. Here is a list of all of our past meeting locations.
What We BelieveSpirit and Truth Fellowship of Knoxville embraces mainstream Christian (Protestant) beliefs, rooted in salvation that is by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). On Sunday, February 19, Pastor David Spakes elaborated on the Two Requirements for Salvation in the following video on YouTube.
